There are two types of inter-administrative processing services, which you can find in the Catalog of services and procedures, which are:

  • Generic service is a type of service designed to be used by any of the entities adhering to the platform and by any user who has the necessary permissions. These services are not linked to a specific provider or to a specific set of recipient entities. An example of a generic service would be the generic request or mass submission, which allow procedures to be carried out in a broad and flexible way, regardless of the entity or user.
  • A specific service is a service designed by a specific provider entity and directed at a specific group of recipient entities, which has as its objective a very specific administrative action such as: granting subsidies, authorizing activities, registering an activity, etc.)

It is made up of an ordered set of procedures or actions that must be followed to adopt a specific resolution. For example, the service "PRE – Subsidies for remuneration of elected officials 2020" is a specific service provided by the Department of the Presidency of the Generalitat de Catalunya, intended for the city councils of Catalonia, and includes procedures such as the subsidy application, the provision of documentation and the justification of the subsidy.

Generic services are grouped in the "Generic Services" section. This section is automatically displayed when accessing the Catalog, before performing the first search.

The majority of the Catalog is made up of specific services and their procedures. These services appear grouped in the search results after you have made a query. Some of them may appear in the sections of the Catalog when you access it.
