1. Where can you change your password?
You can do it from:
- Personal space
- Access to EACAT
2. Who can change their password?
All users can change their password.
3. When can you change your password?
You can change your password whenever you want in any of these situations:
- When the password is valid.
- When the password has already expired.
- When you don't remember your password.
If your password has expired or you do not remember it, you will have to change it from the access to EACAT, as we explain in point 5.
4. How can you change your password from the Personal Space?
Go to account_circle Personal space > General > Password
If the password is valid, you can change it by pressing Change.
- Enter the current password as explained in point 6
- Create a new strong password
- Confirm password
- Press Save
If you do not remember your current password, you will have to change it when you access EACAT again.
5. How can you change your password from access to EACAT ?
You can find yourself in two situations:
If you remember your password:
- And it's valid , you can access EACAT normally.
If you don't remember your password:
- Reset your password at the link Forgot your password?
- Enter your identifier (NIF or NIE), the email associated with your account and press Send link
- Check your inbox. You will receive an email with instructions with the subject Change password for user EACAT
- Open the mail and press Reset password
- Update your password
- Confirm password
- Press Change password
6. What requirements should your password have?
It must not contain your name or personal identifier. It must include at least:
- 8 characters
- a capital letter
- a lower case
- a number
- a special character ($, &, @, ! or others)
Also, all passwords must be renewed every 60 days and cannot be one of the last 10 passwords used.
If the password is not valid, a message will appear asking you to verify that the two passwords are the same and that the requirements are met.
7. Why do you need to change your password?
To be sure that only you can enter with your user in EACAT and work there, according to the profile that the manager of your entity has configured for you.
