The generic request should only be made when there is no specific service that fits the purpose for which you need it.
The generic request allows you to send any documentation or information for procedures that do not have a specific service in the Catalog of services and procedures. This covers those cases where there is no specific procedure defined in EACAT Procedures. If you use a generic request to process a procedure for which a specific procedure already exists, the receiving entity will require you to resend the request using the corresponding specific procedure.
In the case of procedures before the Administration of the Generalitat of Catalonia , in application of article 66.6, in relation to article 16.8, of Law 39/2015, of October 1 , they will be deemed not submitted the generic remittances sent when there is a specific electronic service of EACAT for the procedure being carried out.
